Listen More

My brother,  Allah give us 2 ears and 1 mouth. The learning (hikmah) from it is we should listen more than speak. But in our daily activity, many people like to speak but “lazy” to listen other. They only want  their speaking be listened but they don’t want to listen others. Many people are like this.  And may be,  we are one of them.

I remember  what Rasulullah Saw do when one of Quraisy people say  by many words. He say and say. Rasulullah Asw listen him and never cut his speaking. After the saying finish, Rasulullah saw ask him, “Have you done in speaking?” He answer,  “ yes I have done”.  And then Rasulullah Saw say anything that make him silent and fail to make Rasulullah Saw stop his dakwah.

What is the learning that we get ? Yeah, we should listen more than speak. InsyaAllah by listen more, we will get many knowledhe and advantage. Yeah, insyaAllah. :)

Important or Very Important?

My brother, for  success and great man, time is like gold or money. Very important. They will spend their  time very well. No time without hard and important activity. But for failure and “small” man, time is not so important. Important, but it’s not so important. They will use their  time for their fun. They don’t care whether  they spend their time for goodness or badness. They don’t care it.

Now, how about us? Is  time very important? Or, only important?  Please answer by action. Don’t only answer by statement or words. J

About economical

My brother, economical in using money is very important. By this good character someone can save a lot of money. And then, he can be rich man. As a popular Indonesian proverb, “Economical is key of rich”.

I also read a book that was written by Iman Supriono. The tittle of book is “Guru Goblok Ketemu Murid Goblok”. He wrote that the most important is not about amount our salary, but what is the remain from our salary. Or, the most important is the saldo of our salary. Off course, this need a good character, economical.

And then my brother,  After  saving our money we can invest our money so that can get a lot of new money.
Yeah, economical is so important for us. 

For the last, I remind you that uneconomical man is friend of devil. Allah said: “Innal mubaddziriina  kaanuu ikhwaanas syayaatin”.

Parents Love

My brother, our parents are our love. Our father is our love, and our mother is our love. Both of them are our love. Our mother love us so much. Since we were baby, she  always love us. She shows it by words, by asking our conditions, etc. Our father also love us so much. He love us eventhough he doesn’t say it directly. He show it by praying to God, by working hard, by tell about our achiement to others.

Yeah, they love us. Love us so much. The question for us is, “Do we love them so much?”. Do we pray to God in order they get happiness?”.

About Serving and Achievement

My brother, we live in the world not only for eating or seeking a lot of money, but for giving best serving to Allah. Allah has explained it in Al-Quran (Adz-Dzariyat: 56). He said in this surah, “I didn’t create mankind and evil except for serving Me”. 

My brother, the question for us is, “what is our serving?” May be one of us will answer that serving to Allah can be done by praying  5 times in a day, fasting in Ramadhan month, giving alms, etc. Yeah, it’s right answer. Serving to Allah can be done by these way. 

But my brother, so many people forget that do something for getting achievements is also serving to Him. For example, getting high score in class, be winner in championship, etc. But the requreiment is, we do it because Him, because of Allah.

So this way, by getting achievement actually we serve to Allah. Not only usual serving, but best serving. And now, the question for us is, “What is our best serving to Allah?”, “What is our best achievement?”

Using Heart

My brother, we have heart. Allah gave it to us. Heart is very important. If our heart is good, our other part of body will be good too. But, if it’s bad, so all of part of body will be bad too.

So this way, we should keep our heart. If our heart is dirty we can clean it. We should be dilligent in cleaning it.

My brother, in our daily activity, we also need pure and holy heart. When we speak, do anything, etc we need heart. Using heart. By this way, we will get big advantage, in the world and hereafter. Can we?
