Don’t Blame Environment

My brother, when we don’t  get our dream, some of us may be blame environment around us. We blame place that we live. The question is, is it right?

My brother, actually, the problem is not about place and environment. I also agree that place and environment are very important for us and also can give big influence t us. But my brother, don’t  only look from this side. Don’t only think that place and environment is the biggest problem and the biggest cause. 

We can check again. May be, the biggest problem comes from ourselves, not from place and environment. The proof is, so many people live in jail for long time, but they can make very good books. For example is Ibnu Taimiyah. He can make  high quality books eventhough he live in jail. It is only one example. So many examples that I still can’t mention here.

Just now, I read a good book that is written by kang Abik and his friends. The tittle is, “Catatan Motivasi seorang Santri”. There is good statement that I want to quote here.
“If we have negative thinking to this world; so failure, suffering, and negative things will happen to us. But if we have positive thinking and be optimist; so this life will be happy for us”. “Actually, the problem is not this world, but our thinking”. “Our successful in this world is decided by our thinking. If we are optimist and have positive thinking, so successful will be near with us. But if we are pessimist and have negative thinking, so successful will be far from us.” (page 73)

So, don’t blame environment! :)

The Danger of Low Spirit in Long Time

 My brother, our conditions often change. Sometimes it is in high spirit, and sometimes in low spirit. When we are in high spirit, we will do anything that can make us reach our dream all times until we forget time. But, when we are in low spirit we will don’t do anything. We will forget to our dream. Or maybe we remember our dream, but we don’t have power to do anything.

My brother, when low spirit comes only a moment, it doesn’t matter. It is problem too, but not big problem. It will be big problem when it happens in long time. It will be danger. Very danger. Moreover, it makes us really forget to our dream. It makes us always in low spirit. High spirit never comes. 

So this way, we should be careful when low spirit come to us for long time. It can “kill” us. We should try to avoid it. We should effort to make our spirit in high level. When it goes down we should try to lift up it.

My brother, really it is not easy for us. May be when I write this, I get easy to write it. But it will be difficult when I practice it. Yeah, not only me but also you. May be when you read this writing you will say that it is easy. But really, it will be difficult. Morover, if we want to keep it and want to be consistant. But insyaallah, difficult thing will be easy :)

We Still Can

 My brother, I am sure that all of us want to be success man. But, after passing days we still can’t reach our dream. We are still like this. The big question for us is,  Why can’t we reach our dream? And, what have we done for reaching our dream?

My brother, if we are honest to ourself, big thing that cause it is we still can’t dominate our self well and completely. We still do manything that’s not suitable with our dream. We still more enjoy doing  other activity.

My brother, it is our big  examination and challenge. Actually, the biggest challenge doesn’t come from out side but from inside, from ourself.  The real war for us is not with other people, but war ourself.  Our enemy is not our competitors. Our competitors is important for us, because they can make us in high spirit and motivation. Our real enemy is our laziness, our bad thinking, and anything that make us forget  to our dream.

My brother, may be we are supprise to ourself because we are still like this, same with before, nothing canging, nothing improvement, nothing progressif. Yeah, may be like that. But never mind.  We still have oppurtinity. We still can delete and erase our badness. We still can change. We still can make us better than before. We still can reach our dream.

So, we should keep our spirit. :)

Make ‘Creation’

 My brother, all of people can make ‘creation’ in their life. They can give big advantage to other people. It can be by giving money (alm), helping  other people job, or making writing that can motivate and give big change, etc.

My brother, we can do it. But  usually, we are lazy to make ‘creation’. We choose other activity that only can give advantage to ourself  like sleep, eat, etc. 

Really, giving advantage to other people can give us happiness, not only fun. Our heart will be calm, our mind will be fresh, and our spirit will grow and be progress. 

My brother, when we were birthed to this world, we make people around us care and give attention to  us. They were worry to our condition. They were afraid if bad thing happen to us. So this way, when we grow and can do many things, we should care and give big attention to them. We should help them and give them  happiness. It for pay our ‘debt’ to them. We should change it. How the way? Make creation that give many and big advantage to other people. It’s the good solution.

My brother, beside that, we should be careful in making creation. Sometimes  we are  afraid to do good thing (creation). We are afraid whether it’s intention is for Allah or for human being. Because we have thinking like that, so we leave it. Really, it’s not good. It’s bad. It’s right that doing something because human being, not because of Allah is riya’. But if we leave, it is also riya’. How can? Because, our intention in leaving it is not because of Allah, but it’s because of human being. So the good way is, when we are worry do creation can make us riya’, we continue doing  it while we effort to do it because of Allah. 

My brother, I write like this doesn’t mean that I must be able to do it. But it’s for reminding for us, especially for me as writer.

Finally, let’s make big and useful ‘creation’ in our life that can give many advantage to other people. :)

Maximilize Holiday

 My brothers, all of us love holiday. We can take rest in holiday. We can sleep all time. We can watch TV as long as we want, etc. Yeah, it’s holiday. Holiday is time for refreshing. Time for stop and take rest from  job . 

But my brother, actually for good moslem there is no holiday in the world. Holiday is only in  hereafter. All days are busy time. Because we don’t know, when  angel  will take our life. We are commanded to make better our days every day . Today must be better than yesterday, tomorrow must be better than today. 

Allah also said in al-Quran surah al-Insyirah that, after finishing one job, we should move to other  job and finish it as before. Continuesly. There is no stop. 

We need refreshing. But  it doesn’t mean that we can get fun in all time like playing, watching, etc. Good refreshing is doing useful thing (not unuseful thing)  for making our mind and thought fresh as before. 

May we can make holiday better than before. May we can maximilize our holiday. Fill it by good activity. Amiin.
